What you need to know

  • Streamlabs makes popular livestreaming software to help content creators.
  • Recently, it announced multistream functionality.
  • This allows you to stream simultaneously to Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube.
  • You can download Streamlabs on the developer's website.

Streamlabs is a popular livestreaming client that allows you to perform a number of actions while you're broadcasting gameplay. Recently, the company announced that it was adding multistream functionality to the mix. This means that when you're streaming a game, you can broadcast it through the Streamlabs app to Facebook Gaming, Twitch, and YouTube Gaming. This is a handy feature for those streamers just starting out and want to focus on all platforms, instead of just one like established ones.

However, keep in mind that the functionality is only available to Streamlabs Prime members. You can join the service for $12 a month, which is billed annually on the developer's website. If you're serious about streaming, it seems like that's the way to go.

To enable it, all you have to do is link your various accounts like Facebook and Google to the Streamlabs client. Building your brand on one network is hard, but if you stream across them all, the chances go up dramatically. Plus, the overall audience count will also be higher. Are you interested in Multistream? Would you pay $12 a month for it? Let us know.
